The Foundation Grant Program Pledge:

This code of conduct aims to create a fair, transparent, and inclusive grants program for all facilitators and participants while maintaining an excellent reputation. All recipients of grants through the Foundation Grant Program are bound to act in line with this code of conduct.

1. Equal Opportunity and Non-Discrimination:

We are committed to providing equal opportunities for all applicants and ensuring that no person is discriminated against based on their race, color, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic. Recipients and their projects are expected to uphold this standard as well.

2. Integrity and Transparency:

We value honesty, transparency, and ethical behavior in all aspects of our grants program. We strive to maintain the highest standards of integrity and expect the same from all applicants, reviewers, program staff, and employees.

3. Growing Arbitrum:

The Foundation Grant Program enables projects building on Arbitrum to help expand the ecosystem and benefit the entire Arbitrum community. As such, grant recipients should operate in ways that elevate Arbitrum and avoid actions that put themselves, Arbitrum, or other community members in a negative light.

4. Conflicts of Interest:

To maintain the integrity of the grants program, we require all individuals involved, including employees, reviewers, and applicants, to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may compromise the fairness of the evaluation process.

Conflicts of interest will be addressed to ensure impartiality.

5. Confidentiality and Data Protection:

We are committed to protecting the confidentiality and privacy of all grant applications and related information. Information and communications between the Arbitrum Foundation, Lemma Solutions, and the grant recipient should be treated as privileged information to be handled with all reasonable data protection and confidentiality guidelines.

6. Professional Conduct:

We expect all individuals associated with the grants program to act professionally, treating each other with respect, courtesy, and fairness. Discrimination, harassment, or any other form of disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.

7. Compliance with Laws and Regulations:

All applicants and program staff are expected to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines in relation to their involvement in the grants program. This includes adherence to intellectual property rights, copyright laws, and ethical standards in research, where applicable.

8. Accountability and Feedback:

We encourage open communication and valuable feedback from applicants and stakeholders to improve our grants program. We will address concerns and complaints promptly and fairly, ensuring appropriate actions are taken to rectify any identified issues.
